Canadian Lynx Genus: Lynx Species: Canadensis
A not so common animal is the Canadian Lynx. The Lynx can grow up to 4 feet in length. It weighs anywhere from 11-45 pounds. The male Lynx has a hunting area of about 20 square miles. The female Lynx has a hunting area of about 10 square miles. Some of the adaptaions the Lynx has are its eyes provide excellent vision for the night. Its feet have fur covered pads and are silent in the snow.
