Bobcat Genus: Felis Species: Rufus
The Bobcat is one of two cats that live in the Taiga Forest. Its duration on Earth is about 10-20 years. The body of a Bobcat is about 2 feet in length. The Bobcat goes through 2 color changes per year. During the winter it is tawny gray and during the summer it is a redish brown. When the cat is young it has spots, but as it gets older they slowly dissapear. Some adaptations the Bobcat has made to live here in the Taiga are it has very sharp claws and teeth. This allows the cat to quickly kill and devour its prey. The bobcat has fairly small ears which allows only a small amount of heat to escape its body.
