The Bald Eagle is one of the only birds native to the Taiga Biome. The Bald Eagle weighs 7-10 pounds. It can grow to be over 3 feet tall. Its full wingspan is somewhere between 6 1/2 feet. Its duration on Earth is from 30-35 years in the wild. Some adaptations that the Eagle has made to survive in the Taiga are its sharp claws are perfect for grabbing and trapping small prey. Its eyes have developed to find the small and camouflaged animals that live in the Taiga.
